1. Introduction

Welcome to Nova (“App”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Nova and our website novachat.ai. By using Nova, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use Nova.

3. License

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Nova for personal, non-commercial purposes only. All rights not expressly granted remain with Nova Labs Ltd.

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of content (text, images, etc.) submitted via Nova.
• By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process this content for the purpose of operating and improving Nova’s functionality.
• You must not upload content you do not have the rights to use or share.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Nova offers a weekly auto-renewing subscription that provides unlimited access to premium features including messaging, image analysis, and more. Subscription terms:

• Billing is processed by Apple via In-App Purchase.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your Apple ID account settings.

6. Free Usage

Users may send a limited number of messages for free before a subscription is required.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Nova to:

• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
• Upload illegal, violent, hateful, or explicit material involving minors
• Reverse-engineer or interfere with the app’s functionality or APIs
• Exploit AI output to promote misinformation, fraud, or abuse

8. AI Content Disclaimer

Nova uses AI technology to generate responses. These responses may be fictional, incorrect, or offensive. You acknowledge that:

• AI responses are for entertainment and companionship only
• You must not rely on them for professional, legal, or medical advice
• We are not liable for any decisions or consequences based on AI output

9. Privacy

Nova stores user messages, settings, and media locally. Cloud-based AI services (e.g. Gemini by Google) are used to process some requests. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the app inappropriately. You may stop using Nova at any time and delete your data via the app or by contacting us.

11. Disclaimers

Nova is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nova Labs Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of data or profits.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. Updates will be announced in-app or on our website. Continued use of Nova after updates means you accept the changes.
