• Account Data : Optional display name, gender preference settings, and your device identifier.
• Chat Content : Messages, images, and voice recordings you send or receive. Stored end-to-end encrypted on our servers.
• Usage Data : App interaction events, crash logs, and basic diagnostics (no third-party ad trackers).
• Purchase Data : Transaction IDs and subscription status from Apple In-App Purchase (no raw card numbers).
• Device Data : Operating-system version, language, and timezone.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Generate AI responses, voice output, and image analysis via Google Gemini.
• Sync your chat history across devices and deliver local notifications.
• Improve model quality, prevent abuse, and debug crashes.
• Process subscription payments and provide customer support.

4. Legal Bases

For users in the EEA/UK we rely on (a) contractual necessity to deliver the service, (b) legitimate interests to improve safety and performance, and (c) consent where required (e.g. push-notification permission).

5. Sharing & Disclosure

• Service Providers : Google Cloud (LLM & TTS APIs), Apple (iCloud, App Store Billing), and analytics provider **YOUR ANALYTICS**.

• Chat history persists until you delete it in app or request account deletion.
• Analytics logs are kept for up to 24 months.
• Backup copies may remain for ≤30 days.

9. Children

Nova is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors under that age.

We use TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 server-side encryption at rest, and least-privilege access controls.
