Privacy Policy

Summary

• The App does not collect personal data.
• It has no account, no login and no server.
• Voice analysis runs entirely on your iPhone.
• Audio recordings are deleted immediately after analysis.
• The App makes no network requests of its own.
• There is no analytics SDK, no advertising and no third-party tracking.

Microphone and audio

With your permission, the App records a few seconds of speech to measure the fundamental frequency of your voice. Analysis happens locally using Apple’s AVFoundation audio framework.

The recording itself is written to a temporary file, analysed, and then deleted. It is never uploaded, never shared, and never retained after the measurement or onboarding step that created it. The live pitch trainer measures pitch frame by frame and keeps no audio at all.

What is stored on your device

The App saves the following inside its own iOS sandbox, and nowhere else:

• Measurement summaries — median, low and high pitch in hertz, microphone level, a steadiness figure, and how comfortable you rated the attempt
• Training session records and the dates you trained, used for your streak
• Your onboarding answers, which include an age range and how you describe yourself; the latter selects which published reference range your pitch is compared against
• Your reminder preference and chosen time

None of this is transmitted anywhere. Deleting the App removes all of it permanently.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the App schedules a local notification on your device at the time you choose. No push server is involved and no device token is collected. You can turn it off in the App or in iOS Settings at any time.

Purchases

If you buy a subscription or unlock, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see or receive your payment details. The App only reads whether an entitlement is currently active.

Subscriptions and refunds are managed in your Apple Account settings. Apple’s own privacy policy governs the payment itself.

Children

Mogwave is not directed at children. Voice change during puberty follows its own timeline, and the App is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or a speech and language professional.

Not a medical device

Mogwave is a training and measurement tool. It does not diagnose, treat or assess voice disorders, and its readings are not clinical measurements. If speaking is painful, or hoarseness lasts more than two weeks, please see a qualified professional.

Your rights and choices

Because nothing leaves your device, there is no account to close and no server-side copy to request or erase. You can clear everything from within the App under Settings, or by deleting the App.

Changes

If the App ever begins collecting or transmitting data, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated in the same release that introduces it.
